This is the best bicycle mirror I have used. I like it better than my helmet mirror and better than the Blackburn strap on handle bar mirror. Unlike the Blackburn mirror I purchased, this mirror doesn't have the wide angle-distant view ("Items are closer than they seem" effect) ... You get a proper perspective of the distance cars are behind you, not the "one minute the car is at a distance and the next minute you are in danger" view provided by other mirrors.

I bought this mirror because knowing what's going on behind me makes me feel a lot safer on my bike. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for.
It's small and flat so you get a very small viewing area. A convex surface would be helpful. Also, it's incredibly shaky, even on a smooth surface.
It constantly needs to be adjusted because the strap doesn't keep it very tight. Additionally, if you have twist shifters, you have to be very careful or you'll twist the mirror along with it.
I gave it two stars only because the constant adjusting didn't cause it to break completely after a couple weeks, like it did with my first mirror.
