First off, this is the second rack I purchased off of ebay for my disc brake equipped hybrid/touring bike. The first being a Topeak Super Tourist for Disc brakes. The Topeak rack fit, but due to the design to clear the rear caliper, it was really wide. Over 2" wider than this rack. Which may not sound like a big deal, but this pushes your panniers out pretty far, and the extra wind resistance could be a pain, not to mention it simply looks awkward being as wide as it is. The streamliner is a much better rack for nearly the same amount of money. Rather than the cheap steel straps that you bend to fit, it comes with two solid rods that are pre bent and would work with every possible frame dimension. The mounts at the bottom of the rack are very sturdy, which was a concern I'd read from hours of research online. Also, they're black, not silver like shown, and what you cant tell from the picture, is that they have a small lip with an opening for hooking the bungee of your panniers through, another great touch! The rack is pretty narrow considering the application, but sill has plenty of clearance for a fender, and would work even on a 29" with room to spare. It comes with all the hardware you need, and even an extra attachment if your bike doesn't have the frame eyelets and you need to mount it to the rear brake boss. Couldn't be more happy with this rack! Of the dozens I researched, I gambled with this one having not found a lot of information about it, and this is by far the ideal solution.
